The last few months have been full of ups and downs; good times and bad, but thankfully, I’m here today with a smile on my face. So, for those curious, here’s a quick run down of the past 3 months:
September was a rough month for us due to hurricane Irma. We lost phone service for 3-4 days and had power loss for 11 days; with three kids, that was rough. We had minor damage to the house and property, but are extremely grateful things weren’t worse. Finding my sew-jo was a little rough initially after that, but I quickly recovered because it IS my passion.
October was full of sewing and joyous occasions. I did lots of sewing for some great pattern designers, and amazing custom fabric hosts. It is also the month my husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary (5 of those years married) and found out we were expecting #4. 😉
November has been a month of positivity and looking forward to new beginnings. I’m still pattern testing, still sewing fabrics for the awesome ladies at Geek Garden Fabrics, and slowly thinking ahead to where I want to go. I’ve been toying with the idea of restarting my shop, but we shall see.
